領導理論於當今商業組織的分析中逐漸成為位居重要的研究領域,在過去傳統的領導理論中常見的是以「單層面」的行為導向來針對領導特色進行分類,像是權威式領導、民主是領導、放任式領導等。其後寶德勒衍伸出「權變領導」的概念,將單層面導向深化成「雙層面」的情境面向來關注領導特色。隨著研究的深化與發展,現代領導理論結合多元的層面,進入多面向的綜合研究型態,過去幾年中常聽到的「悖論理論」即是多面向的領導整合研究,然而近期延伸出其他的理論稱為「元(meta)悖論理論」之研究。 此研究即是要透過「元悖論理論」來分析領導者在導入「榮譽典章制度」(code of honor) 時應扮演的角色。在過去商業發展中,詐欺與不道德的商業案 件興起,導致高校系統逐漸思考誠信的培育,「榮譽典章制度」就是從校園中 開始興起,希望能培訓學生從重視校園文化到出社會後能創造有道德的商業文 化而發展出的理論基礎(Sally Sledge & Pam Pringle,2010)
整體而言,本研究的主要研究目的在於探討導入榮譽典章制度的優點、領 導者應該採用何種領導風格以及公司或組織應該如何做好準備,本文中運用質化分析的方法,搜集了七個個案的訪談內容,內容主要圍繞在導入前的組織背景、導入前後的領導人風格、導入前後的組織氛圍以及導入後的績效改變,期望透過七個個案的對比,發現導入榮譽典章制度前應有的準備、領導者扮演的關鍵角色以及導入榮譽典章制度的優點。
Abstract
Leadership theory has gradually become an important research field in current business. In the behavioral orientation of one-sided analysis commonly seen in leadership in the past, such as transactional leadership, democracy leadership, and Laissez-faire leadership, etc. Later, Fiedler developed the concept of contingency leadership, converting concept of single-level orientation into a "two-level" situational orientation to focus on leadership characteristics. With the similarities, modern leadership theory combined with other multiple theories, like “paradoxical theory", which has been born in the past few years. But in the article here, we will discuss on the topic of “meta-paradoxical leadership theory”, which integrated all leadership theory in one to analyze the leader’s role when constructing the honor code for corporation.
The research is to analyze the role that leaders should play when introducing the "honor code " through " meta-paradoxical leadership". Since the emergence of immortal business activities previously, the college system increasingly thinks about how to improve honesty in the school organization. The purpose is to cultivate the moral and honor thought in their mind. Also, business nowadays would take the “honor code” as reference for cultivation of integrity, and to stimulate the motivation and cohesion in their organization.
Overall, the main research objectives of this study are as follows: The advantages of introducing the honor code system, what leadership style should a leader adopt and how a company or organization should prepare during the time constructing the honor code? This research will focus on empirical analysis, extracting important content from the interview content, and summarize the conclusions. In the current business environment, companies compete fiercely with each other, therefore creating a good corporate or organizational culture will be the key factor for success.
