石油化學產業不但是一個先進國家也是一個強國所具備的基礎工業，台灣因為擁有非常完整的上、中、下游石化產業，具有世界領先獨特而完整的材料供應網路。以台灣特用化學品的競爭力進軍國際是必然的選擇。
然而進軍國際市場要考慮那些因子? 過去相關的石油化學產業研究在策略制定上缺乏相關的參考，本研究以台灣特用化學品產業以及瞭解全球特用化學品競爭狀況揭開序幕，文中以SWOT、五力分析及鑽石模型進行全球與台灣特用化學品策略分析，並以質性研究法訪談任職於特用化學品產業人士，於文末提出結論與建議，以供後續研究者參考。

The petrochemical industry is a fundamental industry for well-develop ed and powerful nations. Taiwan possesses integrated upstream, midstream, and downstream petrochemical industries and a world-leading, vertically integrated supply chain. With the competitive strength of Taiwan's specialty chemicals, it is bound to enter the international market.
However, what factors should be considered when entering the international market? The previous research on the petrochemical industry lacked relevant references in strategy formulation. The study kicks off with the industry structure of Taiwan's specialty chemicals and an understanding of the global competition for specialty chemicals. The study utilizes SWO T, Porter five forces analysis, and diamond model to conduct global and Taiwan specialty chemicals strategy analysis. Moreover, using qualitative research methods, the study interviews with senior experts working in lea ding specialty chemicals companies in Taiwan. At the end of the paper, conclusions and
suggestions are put forward for the reference of subsequent researchers.
