在全球化產業競爭之下，產業結構逐漸轉變，數位化轉型是產業發展的重要關鍵，近年來隨著物聯網興起帶動各產業創新及應用。
電信營運商為了搶占物聯網市場商機，結合5G網路、AI、大數據拓展車聯網、智慧醫療、智慧工廠等應用市場，協助產業藉由數據蒐集及應用，締造了創新的軟體應用服務，並透過AI來改善流程及工作效率，提升其營收動能。
本研究以遠傳電信為研究對象，探討個案公司在競爭環境之下所面臨的挑戰，首先運用五力分析目前產業概況，並藉由SWOT分析了解遠傳電信在物聯網的優勢、劣勢、機會與威脅，最後彙整競爭策略分析的結果，得知「差異化」為最重要的部分，建議遠傳電信可從「差異化」策略，找出公司核心能力及競爭優勢，並依此擬定公司未來發展方向。

Under global industrial competition, the industrial structure is gradually changing.
In recent years, with the rise of the IoT, Internet of Things, it has promoted innovation
and applications in various industries. Therefore, digital transformation is an important
key to industrial development.
In order to seize business opportunities in the IoT market, telecom operators have
combined 5G networks, AI, and big data technologies to expand the application markets
for Internet of Vehicles, smart medical care, and smart factories. At the same time, the
industry uses data collection, application and AI technology to launch innovative
software application services to improve operational processes, work efficiency and
sales momentum.
This research takes Far EasTone Telecom as the research object and explores the
challenges faced by individual companies in a competitive environment. First, analyze
the current industry overview with the five forces. Then through SWOT analysis,
understand the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of Far EasTone
Telecom in the Internet of Things. Finally, summing up the results of competitive
strategy analysis, we can see that "differentiation" is the most important part. All in all,
it is recommended that EasTone Telecom can use the "differentiation" strategy to find
out the company's core capabilities and competitive advantages, so as to set the
company's future development direction.
