藉由可靠和公認的資源管道，文獻回顧使其了解賭場的不同環節、因素、觀點和趨勢，並且帶來了市場觀點、遊戲類型、新技術的影響和網際網絡，以及 Covid-19 對關閉賭場和賭博場所的影響。除此之外，還指出賭博所會帶來的風險、問題和疾病，其帶來的危害就跟其他類型的成癮一樣，對於受害者及其親屬來說，都是一種傷害。
藉由台灣人口—本地人和外國人樣本進行的調查資料，能夠獲得證實其他相關研究的結果，例如台灣人贊成開設賭博和賭場部門，不過也從其他結果發現與統計數據背道而馳。

Based on personal research previously conducted during my studies, the introduction will provide a better understanding of the strengths and challenges of gambling and casinos in Taiwan and Asia, but also through the history of casinos and their current events. By using reliable and recognized sources, the literature review makes us understand the different links, factors, aspects, and trends of casinos. It will give a view on the market, the types of games, the impact of new technologies, and the Internet, but also the impact of Covid-19 on the closure of Casinos and gambling venues. In addition to that, it will point out the risks, problems and diseases that arise from gambling, and that are a scourge for the victims and their relatives as any other addiction. With the help of a survey carried out on a sample of the population in Taiwan, including both locals and foreigners, we were able to obtain results corroborating other studies such as the favorable agreement of Taiwanese people to the opening of gambling and casinos department; but we also found other results going against reliable statistics.
