Abstract
Working life occupies half of a person’s life, and it becomes even longer with life expectancy increasing after entering an aging society. Therefore, it is necessary to make a good career plan on the long journey of life, including choosing a suitable career for oneself, playing a good job role, and striving for a more challenging position to prove soft and hard capabilities (skills), or to work as a slashie across fields. Individuals must make a series of decisions for themselves, and how the process and implementation of decision-making overcomes difficulties and move toward goals to achieve personal satisfaction needs psychological resources to cope with problems, pressures and uncertainties.
Therefore, through the establishment of the influence model of career decision self-efficacy, career adaptability and subjective career success, this study understands how workers’ confidence in the practice of career choices affects subsequent career outcomes, and does actively adopting the role of career adaptability contribute to the achievement of personal subjective cognition, and are the workers satisfied with this, and have a positive self-evaluation of the career development so far. Taking people with work experience as the research object, this research has obtained a total of 274 questionnaire survey results. The main results revealed that:
1. Career decision self-efficacy and career adaptability have positive correlation.
2. Career adaptability positively affects career satisfaction and job satisfaction.
3. Career adaptability mediates the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and career satisfaction and job satisfaction.
