Abstract
This paper is to explore whether green human resource management (Green HRM) can be successfully implemented in Taiwan's hotel industry. Furthermore, the paper discusses how Green HRM can encourage employees to behave in a more environmentally friendly manner, called pro-environmental behavior (PEB).
Green HRM can promote employees’ PFB, emphasizing reciprocal influences between employees and Green HRM. The literature suggests that Green HRM can be applied to six different areas in the HR field. Further research directions are also suggested in the report. Green HRM seems to be the key to sustaining long-term growth for enterprises, as more and more experts agree.
