本論文從泰國的視角，檢視台灣新南向政策對泰國的影響。新南向政策是台灣政府以「軟實力」為基礎，推動對東盟國家的關係。新南向政策是從李登輝總統時期的南向政策發展而來的，陳水扁總統與馬英九總統任期持續推行。在蔡英文總統時期就發展為新南向政策，旨在擴展台灣在18個國家的經濟地位，包括東盟10個國家、南亞6個國家、澳大利亞和紐西蘭，以加強經濟聯繫並減少對中國的依賴。從台灣政府推動新南向政策後，台灣文化顯然對泰國產生影響，例如在泰國的台灣飲食種類這幾年來變得更多元，泰國人更了解台灣的飲食文化，而且在泰國的台灣飲食也越來越受歡迎。
本文結論提供給台灣觀光旅遊業者至泰國發展的建議，在飲食文化方面，台灣觀光旅遊業者可以支持台灣與泰國的食品生產商一起合作，共同推出特別產品並在兩國銷售，這樣可以讓台灣和泰國的美食在雙方的知名度大增。在旅遊方面，台灣觀光旅遊業者可以與泰國政府或泰國網紅合作，推廣台灣除了台北以外的其他城市的旅遊景點，讓泰國的旅客能夠更了解台灣各地的特色。

This thesis examines Taiwan's New Southbound Policy from a Thai perspective. The New Southbound Policy(新南向政策) is a policy based on soft power, which the Taiwanese government utilizes to promote relations with ASEAN countries. This policy evolved from the “Go South” policy of President Lee Teng-hui and has been continuously implemented through the administrations of Presidents Chen Shui-bian, Ma Ying-jeou, and Tsai Ing-wen, who developed it into the New Southbound Policy. Its aim is to expand Taiwan's economic presence in 18 countries: the 10 ASEAN nations, 6 South Asian countries, Australia, and New Zealand. This is intended to increase economic connectivity, reduce dependence on China, and diversify Taiwan's economic partnerships. The implementation of Taiwan's New Southbound Policy has had a noticeable impact on Thailand, particularly in the cultural sphere. Taiwanese cuisine has become more diverse and popular in Thailand, with Thais gaining a deeper understanding of Taiwanese food culture.
This thesis concludes with recommendations for Taiwanese tourism operators to further develop tourism between Taiwan and Thailand, specifically focusing on food culture. It suggests that these operators can encourage collaborations between Thai and Taiwanese food producers to create joint campaigns and products for sale in both countries, potentially increasing awareness and appreciation of each other's cuisine. Furthermore, the thesis proposes that Taiwanese tourism operators can collaborate with the Thai government or Thai influencers to promote tourist destinations beyond Taipei in various Taiwanese cities. This would provide Thai tourists with a better understanding of the unique characteristics of different regions within Taiwan.
