Abstract |
Taiwan's digital development technology and capabilities have been actively integrated with the world. As Taiwan's small and medium-sized enterprises face digital competition from all over the world, more innovative business models have emerged and the boundaries between industries have become increasingly blurred. In line with this development trend, companies need to formulate clear and precise long-term strategies for digital transformation. This study starts from the digital transformation strategy of Taiwan's SMEs, and studies the transformation barriers that organizations will encounter in the three strategic stages of digitization, digital optimization, and digital transformation, as well as the high-level leadership and organizational digital capabilities required to resolve the barriers. Propose the digital benefits that the organization can achieve after a successful transformation. This study interviewed 12 Taiwanese SMEs that have achieved great success in digital transformation and summarized the theoretical framework through qualitative analysis research methods, providing corporate managers with a simple and clear framework to describe how companies can achieve digital transformation step by step. Each strategic stage provides a practice-based implementation framework for many companies that have not yet undergone digital transformation or are undergoing digital transformation. |
