Abstract
This research delves into the adoption and utilization of mobile payment systems by consumers in Taiwan, employing the “Technology Acceptance Model” (TAM) as its theoretical framework. Through an extensive survey, it collects data on demographic profiles, usage trends, and factors effecting the acceptance of mobile payments. The findings provide valuable insights into what drives consumers' willingness to use services of paying by mobile devices, including perceptions of ease of use, usefulness, and overall attitude. Furthermore, the study investigates how geographical location in Taiwan influences the selection of mobile payment platforms, highlighting Line Pay and Apple Pay as the most popular choices. Correlation and regression analyses affirm the substantial impact of ease of use, usefulness, and attitude on consumers' intention to use mobile payment services. The study concludes by discussing the implications of these findings for policymakers, businesses, and financial institutions aiming to encourage the uptake of mobile payment services among Taiwanese
consumers.
