本研究探討台灣防水塗料產業的經營策略，並以G公司為案例分析對象。面對台灣通貨膨脹越發嚴重、經濟不景氣、台幣貶值、建築業大缺工、環保意識抬頭、紅海危機、俄烏戰爭、中美貿易戰、東南亞市場興起，G公司在防水塗料市場中遭遇了前所未有的挑戰和機會。研究目的在分析總體環境如何影響防水塗料產業，並深入探討行業競爭態勢，評估G公司的優劣勢及其核心能力，以制定出能協助G公司持續性成長的經營策略。
本研究透過PEST模型、波特五力模型及SWOT分析模型提供了一個了解防水塗料市場之總體環境、產業競爭態勢與公司優劣勢的系統性架構，藉此補足了現有的學術缺口，更據此擬定了協助G公司持續成長的事業策略（Business Strategy）與功能策略（Fuctional Strategy），為G公司提供了具體的策略指引。另一方面，這些分析不僅可為相似環境下的防水塗料企業提供策略調整的參考，對台灣製造業者思考如何突破既有的經營框架，也有重要的實踐意涵。

This study explores the business strategy of waterproof paint enterprises in Taiwan, with G company as the case study. Currently, Taiwan’s waterproof paint enterprises, including G Company, encounter unprecedented challenges and opportunities, such as escalating inflation, economic downturn, currency depreciation, severe labor shortage in the construction industry, rising environmental awareness, the Red Sea crisis, the Russia-Ukraine war, the US-China trade war, and the emergence of Southeast Asian markets. The research aims to analyze how the macro environment affects the waterproof paint industry and delve into the competitive landscape, evaluating G Company's strengths, weaknesses, and core capabilities to formulate operational strategies conducive to its sustainable growth.
Through the PEST model, Porter’s Five Forces, and SWOT analysis, this study provides an overview of the environment in the waterproof paint industry, offers an analysis of the competition, and identifies G Company’s strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, it addresses academic gaps and builds business and functional strategies that may support G company's continuous growth in the present and future environments. On the other hand, this study offers information that may positively support other waterproof coating enterprises in constructing their strategies. The implications are also significant for Taiwan's manufacturing sector as it considers how to break existing business models and innovate.
