台灣耐火材料產業從日本統治時期起步，經過台灣的急速建設期, 至今已發展為以冶金鋼鐵產業為核心的市場產業鏈。在全球市場競爭日益激烈的當下，耐火材料產業正面臨一系列外部及內部挑戰。
外部挑戰主要有來自國際市場的價格競爭，還有依賴中國的原材料供應帶來的斷供風險和價格操控，以及台灣出口產品在主要市場面對的關稅壓力, 而中國產品卻享有成本優勢與關稅優惠。內部挑戰則包括台灣市場規模限制、日益嚴格的製造業法規導致運營成本上升、煉鋼與水泥等主要客戶市場前景堪慮、業內創新動力不足，以及同業間激烈的價格戰。
為有效應對這些挑戰，本研究利用SWOT分析、商業五力分析和安索夫矩陣等策略工具對S公司的現況進行了深入分析。本研究也整合了來自網站和期刊的次級資料，以評估S公司該如何調整其商業策略和發展方向，以加強在市場上的競爭力與追求企業的永續發展

The refractory industry in Taiwan was established during the Japanese colonial period and has mainly developed around the metallurgical steel industry. As global market competition intensifies, the refractory industry is facing a series of external and internal challenges.
External challenges include price competition from the cheap oversea imports, the risks of raw material supply disruption and price manipulation by Chinese Supplier, and tariff added on Taiwanese products in main markets, while Chinese products enjoy low production cost and tariff benefits. Internal challenges comprise limitations of small Taiwanese market size, rising operational costs driven by increasingly stringent regulations, concerning market prospects for major customer like steel and cement industries, a lack of innovation within the industry, and fierce price wars among competitors.
To address these challenges, this study employs strategic tools such as SWOT analysis, Porter's Five Forces analysis, and the Ansoff Matrix to conduct an analysis of Company S’s current situation. This research also adopts secondary data from websites and journals to assess how Company S could adjust its business strategies and remain competitive in the market and pursue a sustainable corporate growth.
