加畢爾．佛瑞 (Gabriel Fauré, 1845-1924) 是法國橫跨十九、二十世紀的重要作曲家、管風琴家、鋼琴家及音樂教育家。他同時也是法國國民樂派的奠基者之一，不僅保留音樂的傳統架構，同時也有較大膽的創作手法，例如：使用連續的減七和弦、半音製造模糊調性的效果。
本詮釋報告將以佛瑞《第一號小提琴奏鳴曲，作品十三》作為研究主題，此作品為佛瑞的第一個器樂室內樂作品，因此具有研究的價值。曲中大多使用的動機為具有不同特色的上下行音階、切分音節奏。和聲使用大膽且豐富，具有戲劇性且飽滿的音色。小提琴的旋律看似簡單卻隱藏了一定的難度，例如：左手抖音及右手弓速轉換要根據作曲家所標示的強弱及表情術語做調整。
本詮釋報告分為四個章節討論：第一章為緒論，說明研究動機及方法；第二章為作曲家的介紹，瞭解佛瑞的人生歷程、早期創作風格及《第一號小提琴奏鳴曲，作品十三》的創作背景；第三章為樂曲分析及演奏詮釋，深入分析此作品使用哪些特定手法以及分享筆者在學習及演奏時是如何詮釋此作品；第四章為結論，會做全文的統整及歸納。

Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924) was a significant French composer, organist, pianist, and music educator who spanned the 19th and 20th centuries. He was also a founder of the French Musical Nationalism, not only preserving traditional musical structures but also employed bold compositional techniques. For instance, he used consecutive diminished seventh chords and semitones to create ambiguous tonality effects.
This interpretation report will focus on Fauré’s Violin Sonata No. 1, Op. 13. This piece, being Fauré’s first instrumental chamber music work, holds scholarly value. The motive used different ascending and descending scales and syncopation. The harmony is bold and rich, with dramatic and full timbres. The violin melody appears simple but conceals certain complexities. For instance, the left hand's vibrato and the right hand's bow speed to be adjusted according to the composer's indicated dynamics and expressive markings.
The interpretation report will be divided into four chapters: The first chapter is an introduction, explaining the motivation and methodology; the second chapter is an introduction to the composer, understanding Fauré’s life, early compositional style and the compositional background of Violin Sonata No. 1, Op. 13; the third chapter is an analysis of the piece and performance interpretation, delving into the specific techniques used and sharing the author’s interpretative approach in performance; the fourth chapter concludes with a comprehensive summary and synthesis of the entire text.
