玻尿酸（Hyaluronic Acid, 又稱透明質酸）為一種天然多醣體，廣泛存在於人體皮膚、關節滑液及結締組織中，具有高度保水性與生物相容性。其優異的保濕功能與組織修復特性，使其在醫學與美容領域中獲得高度關注，特別是在醫美市場中已發展為關鍵性注射填充劑之一。玻尿酸自1934年首次由眼玻璃體中分離出來後，應用領域不斷擴大，從眼科手術、關節炎治療到近年興起的皮膚美容、保養品與組織工程材料，皆顯示出其多元應用潛力。
過去幾十年來，玻尿酸的生產方式亦歷經重要變革，從動物組織萃取轉向微生物發酵製程，不僅提升了生產效率，也降低了致敏風險，符合現代醫療與化妝品產業對於安全性與可持續性的要求。隨著全球對自然、安全且具功能性的美容產品需求持續成長，玻尿酸市場展現穩定增長趨勢，成為眾多生技與美妝企業競逐的重要戰略產品。

Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid, also known as hyaluronic acid) is a natural polysaccharide that is widely present in human skin, synovial fluid and connective tissue. It has high water retention and biocompatibility. Its excellent moisturizing function and tissue repair properties have earned it a high degree of attention in the fields of medicine and beauty, especially in the medical beauty market, where it has developed into one of the key injectable fillers. Since hyaluronic acid was first separated from the vitreous body in 1934, its application areas have continued to expand, from ophthalmic surgery, arthritis treatment to the recent rise of skin beauty, skin care products and tissue engineering materials, all of which have demonstrated its diverse application potential.
Over the past few decades, the production method of hyaluronic acid has also undergone significant changes, from animal tissue extraction to microbial fermentation process, which not only improves production efficiency but also reduces the risk of allergies, meeting the requirements of modern medical and cosmetics industries for safety and sustainability. As the global demand for natural, safe and functional beauty products continues to grow, the hyaluronic acid market has shown a steady growth trend and has become an important strategic product for many biotech and beauty companies to compete for.
This study uses strategic analysis tools (such as SWOT analysis, PEST analysis and Porter's Five Forces Model) to deeply explore the competitive advantages and future strategic directions of hyaluronic acid-related companies in the global market. Through integrated analysis of industry supply chains, regulatory trends, consumer behavior, and technological evolution, we aim to provide companies with an empirical basis and strategic recommendations for formulating mid- and long-term strategies, product layouts, and innovative R&D directions.
