台灣目前已進入高齡社會，並於2025年進入超高齡社會，所以近年來民眾對於各項因年齡衰老而衍生之服務需求顯著顯著成長，例如長照、醫療和復健等。A診所的主要看診科別為骨科和復健科，2007年在林口區設立時尚未有競爭同業，但目前該地區已有5間骨科診所和2間復健科診所，顯示A診所面對的經營環境競爭越來越激烈。
本研究以個案研究方式，透過訪談來瞭解病患和員工對A診所服務品質的感受和建議，以及對A診所通過國際品質管理認證的看法，來探討診所引入ISO 9001品質管理認證對自身競爭力的影響。
透過訪談和個案分析的結果，本研究發現通過ISO 9001品質管理認證確實可以提升A診所的整體服務品質，降低醫療事故風險，對於病患對診所的評價和員工的向心力均有正面影響，可以發揮提升診所競爭力的效果。另外，本研究也根據研究結果提出幾項研究建議和管理意涵，供診所經營者和業界參考。

Taiwan has now entered an elderly society, and will enter a super-aged society in 2025. Therefore, in recent years, people's demand for various services derived from aging, such as long-term care, medical care, and rehabilitation, has increased significantly. The main medical departments of Clinic A are orthopedics and rehabilitation. When it was established in Linkou District in 2006, there were no competitors. However, there are currently 5 orthopedics clinics and 2 rehabilitation clinics in the area, which shows that Clinic A faces the business environment is becoming increasingly competitive.
This study uses a case study method to understand through interviews the feelings and suggestions of patients and employees about the service quality of Clinic A, as well as their views on Clinic A’s passing of international quality management certification, to explore the impact of the clinic’s introduction of ISO 9001 quality management certification on its competitiveness.
Through the results of interviews and case analysis, this study found that passing ISO 9001 quality management certification can indeed improve the overall service quality of Clinic A, reduce the risk of medical accidents, and have a positive impact on patients’ evaluation of the clinic and employees’ centripetal force. It can exert the effect of improving the competitiveness of clinics. In addition, this study also puts forward several research suggestions and management implications based on the research results for reference by clinic operators and the industry.
