Abstract
After the Industrial Revolution, the issue of work-life balance has gradually received more attention. This study explores how in-service master’s students in the technology industry balance work, study, and life through interviews with 10 participants who share this background. The research shows that most participants face multiple sources of stress, and their motivation for attending in-service master’s programs largely determines their allocation to each role. High self-requirements, good time management, and support from schools, businesses, and families can help reduce conflicts between multiple roles. The study suggests that universities can provide credit course programs or course recordings, while companies can reduce employee overtime or implement remote work to help students in professional master’s programs achieve a better balance.
