本研究旨在探討臺灣越南新住民在跨國婚姻背景下的生活故事與挑戰。臺灣與越南之間跨國婚姻的增加，使得越南新住民在臺灣的人數的增加，已形成在臺灣人口數最多的外籍配偶。本研究從文化適應、社會支持及社會融入三個理論面向，分析越南新住民在臺灣的生活適應過程及面臨的困境。透過深度訪談及參與觀察方式，蒐集經由跨國婚姻來臺的越南新住民的個人經歷，探討他們如何克服語言障礙、文化差異等問題，以融入臺灣社會。
研究結果顯示，越南新住民在適應臺灣生活時，面臨著包括語言溝通、文化差異衝突、及社會支持系統不足等困境，而透過社會支持，如家庭、社區及政府的幫助，越南新住民逐漸適應並融入臺灣的社會文化。而政府政策在越南新住民的適應過程中扮演了重要角色，提供了像是生活適應輔導、語言學習及就業輔導等多方面的輔導措施。
本研究為政策制定者提供了一些方向建議，以改善越南新住民的生活條件，促進臺灣社會的多元化和包容性發展，希望透過深度訪談理解越南新住民的生活故事和挑戰，以為他們在臺灣社會的文化融合和政府政策提供參考依據。

This study aims to explore the life stories and challenges of Vietnamese new immigrants in Taiwan within the context of cross-national marriages. The increase in cross-national marriages between Taiwan and Vietnam has led to a rise in the number of Vietnamese new immigrants in Taiwan, making them the largest group of foreign spouses in the country. This research analyzes the process of life adaptation and the difficulties faced by Vietnamese new immigrants in Taiwan from three theoretical perspectives: cultural adaptation, social support, and social integration. Through in-depth interviews and participant observation, personal experiences of Vietnamese new immigrants who came to Taiwan through cross-national marriages are collected to investigate how they overcome language barriers, cultural differences, and other issues to integrate into Taiwanese society.
The research results indicate that Vietnamese new immigrants face several difficulties while adapting to life in Taiwan, including language communication, cultural conflicts, and a lack of social support systems. However, through social support from family, community, and government assistance, Vietnamese new immigrants gradually adapt and integrate into Taiwanese social culture. Government policies play a crucial role in their adaptation process by providing various support measures such as life adaptation counseling, language learning, and employment counseling.
This study provides policy-makers with some recommendations to improve the living conditions of Vietnamese new immigrants, promoting diversity and inclusive development in Taiwanese society. By understanding the life stories and challenges of Vietnamese new immigrants through in-depth interviews, the study aims to offer references for their cultural integration and for the formulation of government policies in Taiwan.
