台灣的動物營養產業正面臨轉型的挑戰。儘管台灣在生物科技領域具有先進技術，但動物營養市場的發展仍受限於專業知識的缺乏和產業鏈的分散---尤其是寵物營養管理。隨著社會對寵物健康的重視日增，寵物飲食的安全與品質成為消費者關注的焦點。寵物食品的種類多樣化，從乾糧到濕糧，再到特殊醫療用食品和保健品，滿足了不同寵物的需求。然而，寵物營養管理師的專業認證不足，導致市場上充斥著未經認證的產品，引發消費者的疑慮。為了提升產業水平，台灣農業部已開始探討如何培養專業的寵物營養管理師，包括在大專院校開設相關課程，以及規劃執業標準。這些措施旨在提高寵物食品的質量，並增強消費者對產品的信任。
本研究採用個案研究及次級資料分析法，檢視特定公司的寵物營養商業模式。研究發現個案公司在開發技術方面與實驗室硬體規格皆優於市場競爭同業，並且專業人員具備可能即將發展官方認證的寵物營養師資格，可大大減少未來在人才培育與產品開發的投入成本。

The animal nutrition industry in Taiwan is currently facing challenges in transformation. Despite Taiwan's advanced technology in the biotech sector, the development of the animal nutrition market is still limited by a lack of professional knowledge and a fragmented industry chain. Pet nutrition management, in particular, has become a focal point of consumer attention as society increasingly values pet health, with safety and quality of pet diets being of utmost concern. The variety of pet foods, ranging from dry to wet food, and extending to special medical diets and supplements, meets the diverse needs of different pets. However, the lack of professional certification for pet nutritionists has led to a proliferation of uncertified products on the market, raising consumer concerns. To elevate the industry standard, Taiwan's Ministry of Agriculture has begun exploring ways to cultivate professional pet nutritionists, including offering related courses in colleges and universities, as well as planning practice standards. These measures aim to improve the quality of pet food and enhance consumer trust in the products.
This study employs case study and secondary data analysis methods to examine the pet nutrition business model of a specific company. The research finds that the case company surpasses market competition in terms of development technology and laboratory hardware specifications, and its professionals possess qualifications that may soon be officially certified as pet nutritionists, which could significantly reduce future costs in talent training and product development.
