由於台灣面臨少子化和平均餘命的延長，導致老年人口增加，這些變化顯著地影響了人口結構，進而對保險業造成了深遠的影響。隨著老年人口的增加，保險公司在健康險方面的保險給付和支出比率逐年上升，這對經營成本造成了重大壓力，並進一步壓縮了獲利空間。2015年台灣引進了金融科技，保險業為了應對這些挑戰，並推出了首張外溢保單。這種保單的設計不僅僅是在事後理賠，更強調事前的風險管理和預防措施，這樣的轉變幫助降低了理賠次數及保險給付。這類轉型對於整個保險業來說是一個重要的創新點，旨在減少未來可能的財務負擔，並優化風險管理策略。本研究選擇具有外溢效果保險作為研究標的，以確認這種模式的推廣有助於保險公司在面臨人口老齡化的挑戰時，能夠更好地維持其財務健康和業務可持續性。
本研究使用五力分析探討外溢保單優勢、鑽石模型探討外溢保單獲利模式、STP+4P探討外溢保單行銷策略，再使用對保險公司高階主管的深度訪談問卷結果進行分析，經研究結果顯示，外溢保單在未來具有絕對優勢，對保險公司的財務健康和業務持續性皆有正向影響效果。最後也提出建議給保險公司的參考，以利保險公司在外溢保單發展行銷策略。

Due to Taiwan facing a declining birthrate and an increase in average life expectancy, the elderly population has grown, significantly impacting the demographic structure and subsequently affecting the insurance industry. As the elderly population grows, the ratio of insurance payouts and expenditures in health insurance by insurance companies has risen annually, placing significant pressure on operating costs and further compressing profit margins. In response to these challenges, in 2015, Taiwan introduced financial technology, widely applied in the insurance sector, and launched the first spillover insurance policy. The design of this policy emphasizes not only post-incident compensation but also proactive risk management and preventive measures, helping to reduce the number of claims and insurance payouts. This transformation is a crucial innovation for the entire insurance industry, aimed at reducing potential future financial burdens and optimizing risk management strategies. This study selected insurance with spillover effects as the research subject to confirm that promoting this model helps insurance companies maintain financial health and business sustainability amid challenges of an aging population.
This study employs Porter's Five Forces to explore the advantages of spillover insurance policies, the Diamond Model to investigate their profit models, and STP+4P to examine their marketing strategies. It also analyzes the results of in-depth interviews with senior executives at insurance companies. The findings indicate that spillover insurance policies hold a definitive advantage for the future, positively impacting the financial health and business continuity of insurance companies. Finally, recommendations are offered for insurance companies to enhance their marketing of spillover insurance policies.
