安全，是回家唯一的路。有鑑於國內汽機車密度較高，交通事故造成的傷亡時有所聞，為避免憾事發生，駕駛除了需了解車輛的原理、特性與限制，避免不當的使用車輛，謹守安全駕駛守則，也應培養對於危險的認知，做好情境的判斷，並採取正確的應對行為，而防禦性駕駛不僅是遵守交通法規，更是一種主動的用路哲學，能夠提高行車安全，保護自己以及其他用路人。

Safety is the only way home. In view of the high density of automobiles and motorcycles in TAIWAN, casualties caused by traffic accidents are common. In order to avoid unfortunate accidents, drivers should not only understand the principles, characteristics and limitations of vehicles, avoid improper use of vehicles, and abide by safe driving rules, but also Develop awareness of danger. Be aware of the situation, make good judgments about the situation, and take correct response behaviors. Defensive driving is not only abide by traffic laws, but also a proactive road philosophy that can improve driving safety and protect yourself and other road users.
This study adopts participatory observation and secondary data analysis approaches to explore the essentials and value of car maintenance, defensive driving, and assisted driving to offer accurate driving knowledge and reduce the probability of car accidents.
