羅伯特‧亞歷山大‧舒曼（Robert Alexander Schumann）是十九世紀浪漫主義最具代表性的作曲家之一，創作作品包含藝術歌曲、交響曲、協奏曲等，其中鋼琴作品的數量最多。除了音樂，舒曼亦對文學抱有極大熱忱，創立了《新音樂雜誌》，以不同性格的角色為筆名，發表對立的觀點，並在音樂創作中同樣展現了他的矛盾與掙扎。
　　文學對舒曼影響深遠，晚期作品《森林情景》（Waldszenen, Op. 82）透過浪漫主義常見的三個素材：童話、田園、狩獵，連貫九首性格小品並建立架構，且引用詩人費德里希‧黑貝爾（Friedrich Hebbel）的詩作，使音樂與文學完整融合。
　　本詮釋報告分為三章，第一章敘述舒曼的生平以及音樂風格；第二章探討《森林情景》的創作背景、分析樂曲架構，再進行九首性格小品的樂曲分析與演奏詮釋，包含調性、曲式、和聲以及動機發展；第三章為結論。藉由分析曲目以及探討文學所扮演的角色，深入了解舒曼獨特的作曲手法。

　　Robert Schumann, a prominent figure among Romantic composers of the 19th century, is renowned for his diverse oeuvre encompassing lieder, symphonies, concertos, and notably, an extensive collection of piano works. In addition to music composition, Schumann also demonstrated a profound passion for literature, leading to his founding of the “Neue Zeitschrift für Musik”. He created a variety of pen name with distinctive personalities, enabling him to express different viewpoints, mirroring his inner conflicts and artistic struggles in his creative endeavors.
　　Literature had a profound effect on Schumann’s music works. In his late work "Waldszenen, Op. 82", he drew inspiration from three quintessential Romantic themes – fairy tales, pastoral and hunting – to construct a series of nine character pieces. By integrating excerpts from Friedrich Hebbel's poetry, Schumann masterfully blended the realms of music and literature, resulting in a seamless artistic expression.
　　This interpretation report is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes Schumann's life and musical style; the second chapter explores the compositional background of " Waldszenen ", analyzes the structure of the piece, and then analyzes and interprets the performance of the nine character pieces, including tonal, form, harmonic, and motivic development; and the third chapter concludes with a general conclusion. Through analyzing the repertoire and exploring the role of literature, we will gain a deeper understanding of Schumann's unique compositional approach.
