為了瞭解臺灣媒體如何建構國際災難議題，本研究以2019年發生的國際災難新聞—亞馬遜雨林大火作為災難研究對象，並分別搜集了主流媒體《中時電子報》、《聯合新聞網》、《蘋果日報》、《自由時報》與另類媒體《風傳媒》、《關鍵評論》、《環境資訊中心電子報》、《上報》、《台灣醒報》中與亞馬遜森林大火相關的線上新聞作為分析文本。災難有許多形式，但多數民眾是透過媒體對災難進行理解，媒體在災難建構過程中主要是憑藉框架進行作用，本研究將援引框架理論作為理論基礎，考察主流媒體與另類媒體對於此次國際災難新聞報導所採用的框架為何，為切合研究問題，本研究將透過內容分析法對研究問題進行回答，資料採集期間為2019年7月1日至2020年2月29日，並以亞馬遜、大火、雨林作為關鍵字進行資料搜集。此次大火引起的報導從單純的環境災難事件延伸至經濟議題甚或政治操弄，且在主流媒體與另類媒體間的報導略有差異，研究者對這樣的報導狀況感到好奇，因此提出了主要的研究問題：主流媒體與另類媒體對於亞馬遜雨林大火的報導框架為何？由於不同的消息來源會對新聞報導產生重大影響，因此本研究除了討論報導內容外，也將消息來源一併討論。於研究結果發現 1)主流媒體與另類媒體報導國際災難新聞時選用消息來源有異，且消息來源的選用會影響報導的報導立場； 2)在國際災難新聞報導初期，主流媒體與另類媒體所選擇的報導主題框架有較明顯的差異。

In order to understand how Taiwanese media construct international disaster news, this study takes the international disaster news that occurred in 2019 — Amazonia’s fire as the disaster research object. We collected both mainstream and alternative media such as the China Time, the United Daily News, the Apple Daily, the Liberty Time, the Storm Media Group, The News Lens, the Environmental Information Center Newsletter, the Up Media and the Awakening News Networks as analytical texts. The disaster is constructed by media, the construction process is mainly based on framing, so this study will use frame theory as theoretical basic to investigate how mainstream and alternative media use the frame for international disaster news. This study will use content analysis to answer the research question, the time frame of the study was from July 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020 and use ‘Amazonia’ ‘fire’ ‘rainforest’ as keywords for data collection. The reports caused by the fire have extended from simple environmental disasters to economic issues or even political manipulation, and there some differences between mainstream media and alternative media, researcher is curious about the situation in the media reports, so raise main research questions: What is the reporting frame of the Amazonia’s fire in mainstream media and alternative media? Since different sources of news can have a significant impact on news reports, this study will discuss of the source of news. The results of the study found that 1) mainstream media and alternative media choose different sources when reporting international disaster news, and the choice will affect the value of the report; 2) In the early days of international disaster news reporting, there were obvious differences in the media frame chosen by mainstream media and alternative media.
