本文透過建立兩國動態隨機一般均衡(dynamic stochastic general equilibrium, DSGE)模型，藉由設定本國與外國勞工自願努力生產效率函數(effort function)loan)與允許移工來本國工作考量進兩國小型開放經濟體系實質景氣循環(small open economy real business cycle)模型中，探討存在失業情況下，當本國生產技術進步衝擊時，對於移工流量的影響，進而使本國勞動市場造成如何影響。研究結果發現：(1)當本國勞工努力程度增加時，本國面臨正向生產技術衝擊下，對於移工到本國工作流量沒有顯著下降的影響，本國實質薪資沒有顯著增加的影響，本國失業及外國失業均下降。(2)當本國勞工與移工替代性越高時，本國面臨正向生產技術衝擊下，增加移工到本國工作流量，並使本國實質薪資造成不利的影響，本國失業下降及外國失業增加。(3)當本國給定的移工實質薪資提高時，本國面臨正向生產技術衝擊下，對於移工到本國工作流量及本國實質薪資皆沒有顯著下降的影響，本國失業及外國失業皆增加。

This thesis incorporates efficiency wages into a two-country small open economy model, and in the model, I allow that migrant workers from the foreign country can work at the home country. By implementing the quantitative analysis of the model, I analyze the effects of total factor productivity (TFP) shocks on the flow of migrant workers and the labor market in the home country while unemployment is present in the economy. Consequently, I can derive the following three main results when the economy is experiencing a positive TFP shock. First, the increase in domestic labor effort can lead to insignificant change in the effect of TFP shock on migrant workers and the real wage rate in the domestic country, and can strengthen the reduction in unemployment in both countries under the positive TFP shock. Second, the higher elasticity of substitution between domestic labor and migrant workers can reinforce the increase in migrant workers and decrease in unemployment in the domestic country, and can restrain the increase in real wage rate in the domestic country and the decrease in unemployment in the foreign country under the positive TFP shock. Third, when migrant worker’s real wage rate is higher, unemployment in both countries increase less in response to the positive shock, and there is insignificant change in the effect of TFP shock on migrant workers and the real wage in the two countries.
