Abstract
In this digital age, Generation Z (Gen Z) is emerging as a vital force in the workforce. Their expectations for work go beyond mere salary; they pursue enjoyment, challenges, and self-actualization. Therefore, this study investigates whether gamified recruitment is a more effective option for Gen Z job-seekers than traditional recruitment methods. The research focuses on exploring how companies utilize gamification to improve their recruitment processes, making it more engaging and challenging. Employing a qualitative approach, the research will conduct semi-structured interviews with Gen Z job-seekers and HR professionals who have experienced both gamified and traditional
recruitment processes. These interviews will explore their perceptions, experiences, and preferences regarding each approach. The interviews will also delve into how gamified recruitment impacted their understanding of the company and their decision to apply or accept a job offer. The findings of this research could underpin companies in attracting Gen Z talents more effectively and serve as a valuable reference for future transformations in corporate recruitment strategies.
