此質性研究旨在調查越南員工在科技初創公司的看法及實際經驗,並將著重於如何留住員工。一個好的企業應該重視員工並維持員工對公司的忠誠度。即使一間公司投入大量資金於招聘和培訓員工,每年還是會流失大量優秀人才。本研究使用赫茲伯格雙因素激勵理論來找出影響員工去留的因素。然後使用Braun和Clarke (2006) 修改的六步主題譯碼法,將深入訪談所搜集的數據,編碼、分組並聚集成關鍵主題。此研究表明了員工對工作的滿意度及淺在因素的影響,這些因素將使員工決定是否繼續留下。


Abstract
This qualitative study aims to investigate the opinions and practical experiences of Vietnamese employees in technological startups. Retention of these employees is the focus of this research. Great companies have to know how to value and keep their employees loyal to the firm. Even when an organization invests a significant amount of money in hiring and training new employees, every year a significant number of talented and experienced employees leave the firm. To determine what are the elements that guarantee employee retention, this research was carried out by applying Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory (1959). Data was gathered through in-depth interviews. It was then coded, grouped, and clustered into key themes – using the 6-step modified by Braun and Clarke (2006) thematic coding approach. This study highlights the potential factors that affect employee’s job satisfaction and dissatisfaction. These factors make employees decide whether to continue working in that organization or search for working opportunities elsewhere.
