Abstract
Every business strives to create an environment where putting things off is unacceptable. The success of every company depends on the commitment of the employees, who are the backbone of the company, as they receive the strategies developed by the leading team and then put them into practice. Accordingly, a team of employees procrastinating on their duties may significantly influence the company's performance. One of the most important things that shape an individual's personality and tendencies toward delay is the style of parenting they experienced has been shown as a significant predictor of future personality traits, particularly in the workplace, and procrastinator tendencies.

The characteristics of a person's procrastination personality can be learned from their parent. The research examined the role of parenting in shaping employees' behavior, specifically their procrastination character. This study involved 20 participants in Taiwan who responded to the online questionnaires. The participants were involved online, and the questionnaires were sent via email. The survey participants returned their questionnaires through email. The data analysis was carried out using a manual tabulation method. The findings confirmed the link between academic procrastination and parenting style. A link between adult procrastination and parenting style was seen in the data, and the final analysis detailed a correlation between leadership style and work procrastination.
